Sober Housing 3.0 Training

This training is to assist MASH-certified sober home operators and directors to update policies and procedures to align with NARR 3.0.  This 2 ½-hour training will be held via Zoom. On-screen presence and participation are required.   This training is not for in-house managers, mentors, or peer supporters.

Choosing a New Mentor

Via Zoom – October 12, 6:30 pm -8:30 pm

Choosing a House Mentor – This 2-hour training will help operators identify what their home needs in a mentor and how to assist mentors with skills and support. Video presence and participation are required for the entire training.  CEUs will be offered.  Training will be held via Zoom on Wednesday, October 12th, from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm.

Basics of Motivational Interviewing

Via Zoom – November 9, 6:30pm -8:30 pm

Motivational Interviewing – This 2-hour training will help us to recognize the power of motivational interviewing and how using it in our homes will help us to gain a greater understanding of the people that we serve. Video presence and participation are required for the entire training. CEUs will be offered. Training will be held via Zoom on Wednesday, November 9, from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm.

MASH 101 for Potential Operators

In-person – November 14 and 15 – 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

Location: Waltham

MASH 101 for Potential Operators – Learn whether or not operating a sober home is for you.  MASH 101 for Potential Operators two-day training will provide you with the basic information of what it takes to operate a sustainable sober home as a MASH member.  The training will be held in person from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.  Presence and participation are required for both days required to receive a certificate of attendance to be applied to the required paperwork.

Via Zoom – One-day training – available on the following dates

December 12, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm

MASH Manager/MentorTraining – This training focuses on the specific needs of live-in house mentors and assistant house mentorsMentors will learn crucial tools to improve leadership skills, communication with house members, and setting healthy boundaries. This1-day training will be held via Zoom. Video presence and participation are required for the entire day to receive a letter of attendance. This training is not for operators/directors who also manage homes.
