MASH Manager/Mentor Training

This training focuses on the specific needs of live-in house mentors and assistant house mentors.  Mentors will learn crucial tools to improve leadership skills, communication with house members, and setting healthy boundaries.  This 1 Day training will be held via Zoom on December 12th from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.  Video presence and participation is required for the entire day to receive a letter of attendance.  This training is not for operators/directors who also manage homes.

Compassion Fatigue/Burnout/Vicarious Trauma – Zoom

Description: During this training, participants will learn to recognize the signs of burnout and compassion fatigue in operators, managers, and house leaders. Participants will also understand the importance of self-care and healthy boundaries.

In-person – January 9 and 10 – 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

Location: Hotel 1620 Plymouth House (The Atlantic Room) – 180 Water Street, Plymouth, MA 02360

MASH 101 for Potential Operators – Learn whether or not operating a sober home is for you.  MASH 101 for Potential Operators two-day training will provide you with the basic information of what it takes to operate a sustainable sober home as a MASH member.  The training will be held in person from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.  Presence and participation are required for both days required to receive a certificate of attendance to be applied to the required paperwork.
