MASH 101 for Potential Operators
In-person – March 13 and 14 – 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
Location: Hilton Garden Inn – 170 Forest Street, The Adams Ballroom, Marlborough, MA 01752
Learn whether or not operating a sober home is for you. MASH 101 for Potential Operators two-day training will provide you with the basic information of what it takes to operate a sustainable sober home as a MASH member. The training will be held in person from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. Presence and participation are required for both days required to receive a certificate of attendance to be applied to the required paperwork.

Virtual: Removing Barriers to Recovery
Zoom – March 15, 2023 from 6:30 PM-8:30 PM
This 2-hour training will help operators and managers to identify barriers that impede the recovery process and assist the residents in overcoming obstacles. CEUs will be offered. Training will be held via Zoom on Wednesday, March 15th from 6:30pm – 8:30pm.

Virtual: MASH Mentor/Manager Training
Zoom – April 10, 2023 from 9:00 AM-4:00 PM
Mentors (managers) will learn crucial tools to improve leadership skills, communication with house members, and setting healthy boundaries. The 1-day training will be held via Zoom on Monday, February 13th from 9:00am – 4:00pm.On screen presence and participation is required for the entire day to receive a certificate of attendance.

Virtual: Trauma Sensitive Care
Zoom – April 19, 2023 from 6:30 PM-8:30 PM
This 2 hour training will help you to identify how trauma based responses may reveal themselves in the sober home environment and help operators and managers to deescalate trauma fueled responses. CEUs will be offered. Training will be held via Zoom on Wednesday, April 19th from 6:30pm – 8:30pm.

Zoom: May 17, 2023 from 6:30 PM-8:30 PM
This 2-hour training will identify what culture is and reveal areas in our homes where we can promote cultural inclusiveness. CEUs will be offered. Training will be held via Zoom on Wednesday, May 17th from 6:30pm – 8:30pm.

Virtual: Conflict Resolution for Operators
Zoom: June 21, 2023 from 6:30 PM-8:30 PM
This 2-hour training will help operators identify causes of conflict and recognize methods of conflict resolution that are specific to sober housing. CEUs will be offered. Training will be held via Zoom on Wednesday June 21st from 6:30pm – 8:30pm. Please be sure to log onto the Zoom 10 minutes prior to the start of the training.
